Kłodzko Attractions
Kłodzko Fortress
The Kłodzko Fortress is a historical military building located in the centre of the Kłodzko Valley. It can be visited with a guide or severally. A couple of different routes are available for tourists, including an underground labyrinth.
Undergrounds of the Kłodzko Old Town
Beneath the Kłodzko Old Town, there are underground passages, partially open to the public. These tunnels, walkways, and corridors are the result of the townfolks’ work, who have been continuously expanding their cellars since the 13th century.
The entrance is located at the foot of the fortress, and the exit is below the parish church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Zawiszy Czarnego Street.
Gothic Bridge of St. John
This stone bridge dates back to the second half of the 14th century. The bridge was constructed using mortar made from egg white, lime, and sand. In 2014, the Gothic bridge received an award in the category of Preservation of Historical Values of a Single Object in the “Zabytek Zadany 2014” competition.
The square located on the western side of the Gothic Bridge (entrance from Daszyńskiego Street) hosts many cultural events organised by the Kłodzko Cultural Center and the City of Kłodzko.
Kłodzko Old Town
The Old Town in Kłodzko captivates visitors with its well-preserved monuments, both secular and sacred, creating a unique urban landscape. The charming streets are full of traces of the city’s rich history and also serve as a film set.
Film producers often use the streets of the old town for diverse contexts. One of the films shot here is “Kajtek the Wizard,” directed by Magdalena Łazarkiewicz.
Museum of the Kłodzko Region
The largest collections in the Museum include a collection of tin, coins, Silesian clocks from the industrialisation era in Lower Silesia, and unique glass, with particular emphasis on the achievements of artists working in the Kłodzko region after 1945.
The museum is open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM from 1st of May to 30th of September. In the remaining months, the museum can be visited between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The museum is closed on Mondays.
Religious Monuments
The oldest preserved church in the city is the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which belongs to the Jesuits. Inside the church, you can see the tombstone and monument of the first Prague archbishop, who commissioned the construction of the church.
The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary, along with the Franciscan monastery, has retained its current form since the 18th century. At the entrance, on the left side, the height of the water level that flooded the church during the millennium flood in 1997 is marked.

Beautiful views
Kłodzka Góra
The peak of Kłodzka Góra is the closest summit to our hotel and restaurant, Korona. From here, you can walk to the lookout tower at the top of the mountain. The views are stunning!
Śnieżnik
This is the highest peak on the Polish side of the Eastern Sudetes and in the Śnieżnik Massif. It is the only mountain in the Śnieżnik Massif that rises above the tree line.
The views from the top can be enjoyed both from the peak itself and the newly built observation tower.
Sky Bridge and Sky Walk
Crossing the world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge, suspended 95 meters above the ground, is a challenge but also pure pleasure! For those who prefer beautiful views from above with more stable footing, we recommend the Sky Walk in Dolni Morava.
The path is 55 meters high, and from its top, there is a view of the entire Śnieżnik Massif and the Morava River Valley. The return journey down the Sky Walk can be made using the 100-meter long slide.
Treasures of nature
Szczeliniec Wielki
Szczeliniec Wielki is the highest peak in the Table Mountains. The trail is neither demanding nor long, but it is important to note that to reach the summit, you must climb over 665 steps.
It is definitely worth the trip for the exceptional views and the imagination-stirring rock formations. During the summer season, we recommend descending into the so-called “Piekiełko,” a path through the crevices of majestic rocks.

Błędne Skały is a labyrinth of crevices and alleys between rocks several meters high. Some of them have their own names, such as Skalne Siodło (Rocky Saddle), Kurza Stopka (Chicken Foot), Głaz Trzech Krzyży (Three Crosses Boulder), and Skalne Czasze (Rocky Bowls).
Bear Cave
The most beautiful dripstone cave in Poland. The recently discovered Mastodon Hall is almost the size of the national stadium!
The discovered halls and corridors measure a total of about 5 kilometers. The tourist route is 360 meters long, surrounded by various dripstone formations and a large number of Ice Age animal bones. The cave is also accessible to people with disabilities.

Lądek-Zdrój
One of the most famous and oldest health resorts – it was known as a spa as early as the end of the 15th century.
It is considered the oldest health resort within present borders of Poland, as historical sources indicate that there were bath facilities here in 1241, destroyed by the Mongols returning from the Battle of Legnica.
Kudowa-Zdrój
One of the oldest health resorts in Europe, famous for the healing properties of its mineral waters for centuries. Their sources flow out in the heart of the resort – the Spa Park.
Noteworthy is the brine graduation tower in the spa park, which emits iodine, positively affects the entire body. For children, we recommend expending energy at the Capitalna Zabawa playground.
